The Association of Accredited Schools of Business International (AASBI)
AASBI is a global accreditor of qualified business schools worldwide that serve the public interest with academically rich and diverse student bodies. They provide culturally relevant professional learning experiences in stimulating environments that guarantee freedom of expression and other basic human rights.
EduQua
Geneva Business School has been certified by EduQua, a Swiss quality label for further education institutions, since 2003. In the EduQua certification process, institutions offering continuous adult education are eligible for certification. EduQua defines six criteria, which are key to the quality of an institution: The courses offered, communication with clients, value performance, staff, learning success, quality assurance, and development.
International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE)
The International Accreditation Council for Business Schools gives Geneva Business School students access to the IACBE network of over 250 universities and business schools for exchange programs, transfers, and academic collaboration.
Geneva Business School is accredited by IACBE which is recognized by CHEA.
Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB)
AACSB is the world’s largest network of business schools and organizations committed to advancing business education and making a lasting, positive impact on society. Comprised of a diverse group of educators and industry leaders from over 100 countries, members of the Alliance are empowered to build relationships through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP)
ACBSP is an international accrediting body for higher business education institutions, working with all levels of degree programs. Institutions accredited by ACBSP must offer a high standard of academic programs, with a focus on business leadership, strategic understanding, educational support, and a quality of teaching faculty.
Association Genevoise D’Ecoles Privées (AGEP)
The Association Genevoise D’Ecoles Privées (AGEP) is a Geneva-based member of the Swiss Federation of Private Schools, with over 47 members from primary schools to universities. The AGEP connects students to the large variety of courses offered by Geneva’s private school, giving students the opportunity to follow a course of study best suited to their personal requirements and future aspirations.
Business Graduates Association (BGA)
In 2020, Geneva Business School became a proud member of the Business Graduates Association (BGA). BGA’s mission is to ensure that Business Schools innovate and venture beyond conventional means of teaching, where the impact and results of that teaching are stressed in their quality assurance process. The benefits of BGA membership are designed to help the institution, faculty, students, and graduates achieve excellence in their chosen roles.
The Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services (CCIG)
Also known as the CCIG, The Geneva Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services is a private and independent organization, which works towards a strong economy, conducive to local businesses sustaining their activities long-term.
Consejo Latinoamericano de Escuelas de Administración (CLADEA)
CLADEA oversees a global network of over 200 public and private higher education institutions from America, Europe, Africa, and Oceania. CLADEA seeks to improve the quality of education for management and encourage further research for each country of their member institutions, with a particular focus on social and economic organizations within Latin America.
European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD)
EFMD, based in Brussels, Belgium, is an internationally-recognized accrediting body and the largest management development network association in Europe, with nearly 1,000 members across 90 countries. The focus of the Foundation is to improve the management education of each of its members and to help them develop socially responsible business leaders.
The Federation for EDucation in Europe (FEDE)
The Federation for EDucation in Europe (FEDE) is a network of nearly 500 higher educational and vocational institutions sharing a vision of quality, innovation, and ambition: at FEDE, students are at the heart of education.
With an important network of member institutions and alumni, FEDE institutions are able to anticipate tomorrow’s business requirements, adopting the latest teaching techniques and meeting European standards, as recognized by professionals and recruiters.
Fédération Suisse des Écoles Privées (FSEP)
Around 100,000 students from Switzerland and over 100 different nations attend one of the 240 member schools of the FSEP. Switzerland has many locational advantages, one of the most important being the schools. Multicultural education has always been a compulsory subject for Switzerland. The FSEP maintains a bond of trust with their member schools towards parents, students, and the state authorities.
Association Suisse des Institutions Privées d’Etudes Supérieures (ASIPES)
ASIPES, or Swiss Federation of Private Schools is formed by around 100,000 students from Switzerland and over 100 different nations attending one of the 240 member schools.
The Swiss Private Model
To elaborate further, Swiss public universities are managed by the state and the degrees are equally issued by the state or a state-run governing entity.
Students often opt for public universities if they wish to study in an environment with a large array of permanent faculty members and large classes as government-subsidized tuition fees allow more students to apply.
The teaching approach is wholly theoretical and often taught by professors who have carried out research and long been associated with the academic world but rarely with the professional world of private companies and employment.
Private business schools, on the other hand, offer small classes and are not government-subsidized. They can achieve accreditation for their programs from international bodies such as IACBE, EDUQUA, and AASBI.
Faculty at private business schools usually work on a part-time basis, combining teaching with industry work. They are fully aware of the latest trends in their sector and teach it both in theory and in practice.
The teaching methodology is much more hands-on, interactive, and practical. This category of professors ultimately train students to be better prepared and offer insight into real-world markets. As a result, credible private schools venture overseas to gain programmatic accreditation and look for external supervision and global benchmarking.

Our organization is classed as a Business School, distinguishing its status from that of a standard university. As such, Geneva Business School is not beholden to regulations imposed by the Swiss Higher Education Act (HEdA) and the School is free to provide higher education and confer private degrees, from bachelor’s to doctorate levels as it sees fit.
